> As per "scoring," the controversy here could easily be cleared up by labeling one's prediction as one for an aftershock, if applicable, and duly tightening one's parameters. < So would you also label FFA events and tighten their parameters? Sometimes competition can foster so many arguments about rules that it loses usefulness and becomes a guessing game. Too many stacked-up rules could prevent any contest entries. I haven't entered competitions on this board because I didn't have a prediction to fit them. Are predictions really useful investigative tools if conjured to match dates and rules?
