Your comments are appreciated Petra. I think sometimes we all need to remember that
what a "trigger" is. The trigger on a gun does nothing unless the gun has been loaded.
If the gun is empty you can press the trigger forever and never release more energy than
was required in pressing the trigger, but if energy has been loaded into the gun in some
form - as with a bullet, the tiny amount of energy required to press the trigger can release
a vast amount of stored energy. Solar and other effects should always be view in the
context of a triggering mechanism were the vast majority of the energy is stored as
tectonic energy from motion of tectonic plates and blocks.
