an addendum: if these walking on jello episodes (thanks petra) are any indication, we should be in for a fairly good jolt. since i last posted, i've had four more. more than i've ever felt in any given period.

so, this should be a very good test of the balance theory (at least where i am concerned). about 9 separate episodes in the last couple days.
