I would tend to discount most of this.

Tides are a very minor component of seismicity IMHO. It's a scaling problem. the oceans are like dew on an apple.

Solar energy heating the core? Be serious. It takes forever for energy to get down there.

Tides don't drive the plates. Convection cells drive the plates along with upwelling at the ridges and subduction in the trenches.
