I live in Huntsville, Al, about 21 miles from epicenter. Did not feel it, but several friends here did. Strange thing is the "sounds" they heard...from a "groan" in places to "like a bomb went off" in other places. Several thought it to be terrorist attack. Seems like a pattern of areas, like tree brances, appears where it was felt, which could benefit research??? Valley people and foot of the mountains people felt it more and stronger; but I was outside and didn't feel anything on Monte Sano Mountain (about 500-600 feet higher). Local TV news at 10:00 CST and today's paper said no aftershocks expected, yet people were calling TV and authorities from 75 miles away almost two hours later. My thinking is it was/is premature, to say there should be no aftershocks, especially without sufficient data on the quake as well as the area. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated, as I feel there is more and bigger yet to occur here. I really appreciate the work and postings you guys do. Barry
