Hi Bob. If you’re referring to the 4.3Md that occurred on 01/14/2001 it could be, but from what I can see the activity in the area is pretty close to background level at present time. I have always viewed quakes after an event near that magnitude with a jaundice eye. Of course any quake that occurs in the immediate vicinity immediately after the event could be considered aftershocks, but when we get past 6 months or so I’m not so sure they are aftershocks. It really depends upon the level of the activity before the event.
