"The strongest earthquake listed in the U.S./Canada region today occurred as a Ml 3.8 off the coast of Northern California about 150 km west of Trinidad, CA. This area is expected to see several more events over the next several days." BOB: Most offshore Q's near the Trinidad has no aftershocks.....I am sure you could go to the catalogue and find out different in some cases..course it depends on what is called and aftershock:-) The area has been very sparse the past couple years....Look back to the mid 1990's and it was very active. I look for it to become active again as it is an integral part of my PPTOT. Lowell have you ever been to Trinidad Head? If not it might be a worthwhile summer trip for camping...It is wilderness to a degree and the ocean views are some of the most spectacular!! you can camp right on the beach...and watch out for sleeper waves!
