The method is more accurate, but very time consuming. On large databases with small time steps, it can be thousands of times longer. Well, that just means it takes tens of seconds instead of tenths of seconds.

And, it seems to be having the effect of raising scores, not lowering like I expected. Not sure why, and that bothers me.
