There has been a destructive earthquake in the Philippines area. So far, news reports are stating that around 100 people or more have perished.

My latest forecasting chart from October 14, 2013 shows a strong line peak group around 124 E.

A number of groups around the world have been circulating forecast data the past few weeks believing that something could be approaching. And I recently told one of those groups that my recent low intensity EM Signal data appeared to be pointing to the Japan area down to the Indonesia area.

If you check back to October 5, 2013 you can see that I posted an Earthquake Warning here plus an update. I am in the process of checking to see if that was the one responsible for those EM Signals. It was in the right magnitude range and location.

That update of the October 5 warning displays a Total Electron Content chart. And there was also another chart for that same area that was sent to me for that same area by someone using an entirely different method. They both look like they were able to roughly tell when and where an earthquake might occur.

This was the best earthquake in quite a while where it appeared that multiple parties around the world were able to generally tell that it was approaching and when and where it might occur. And this once again shows the critical need for some type of international earthquake forecasting data circulation resource.

Such a resource could be run at one of my Web sites. But I don’t have time to do that type of work plus my actual forecasting work and work on other important projects. The EarthWaves bulletin board helps. But it does not presently have the types of features that would be needed for circulating international types of forecast data.
