Revelation / Discovery Tidbit made in May 01

Hi Petra:

Just thought I would add a little info. about a discovery regarding eartones and ELF.

I think back in May you reported a right ear tone lasting about 15 secs at about 8pm (- midnight). Coincidentally, Mary Marye (I think) posted her ear tone logs and reported what looks like the same tone on the same day and time (about 8pm?).

Big deal right ? But it gets better. You lived in Petaluma (North of the Bay) and I believe Mary lives in Santa Cruz (or was it San Jose?). Anyway she lives south of the bay by about the same distance as you are north.

If you go to the www.earthquaketracker.com (I think) web-site, one of the ELF detection sites had a spike in it occuring at the same day and time (about 8 pm) as you had reported the right ear tone. It is interesting that you both reported the same "right ear" tone and it had about the same duration (of 15-18 secs I recall).

Anyway, the ELF sensors at the website above (I believe) are sensitive in the 1 - 20 Hz range. The spike was the aggregated energy from all those bands (1-20 Hz) so there is no way to tell which frequencies exactly where involved (though the earthquake tracker company may know).

Though this does not link ear tones to earthquakes it does suggest a linkage to the idea that "some" humans may be hearing ELF which is detectable by instruments(with caveat that only one data point has been found at the moment).

Furthermore, a rampant speculation might include such outlier ideas like the following:
1) You are hearing the upper harmonics of an ULF wave (which is extremely long wavelength) and may reach around the globe!
2) You are in fact, possibly hearing the precursory upper frequency harmonic chirp of ULF waves which are a factor in earthquakes (to be later explained in more detail at a later time) which are happening in the same hemisphere and / or possibly around the globe

Anyway, I made this little discovery back in May and this is the first time that I am reporting it.

For those with the time and resources one could pursue this discovery further by:
1)Retrieving data from web-site above
2)Retrieve Mary Marye's log files from earthsensitives.org (if they are still posted)
3)Retrieve Petra's logs from Don E. ???

4) Perform a correlation analysis from ear tones to ELF

5) Perform correlation analysis from ELF to earthquakes in CA only
6) Based on ELF higher hamronic assumption from an ULF wave, perform correlation analysis of ELF spikes to (large) worldwide quakes
7) From data, possibly infer "ear tones to earthquakes" correlations with statistical confidence known.

I would be doing this study myself, but I already have a full plate as it is (and I'm not funded in any way shape or form).

In essence Petra, somehow you have captured intuitively this relationship over time ...however, one can only speak tentatively given the fact of just one data point (with the presumptious speculation that even more may be found)! Of course, right now this "discovery" is merely labelled a "coincidence".

Anybody want to help investigate this further? The game plan is shown above. Don't expect any "respected" journal to publish the results though (unless maybe it's overseas and not geology-centric).
