Zima Chronocles

Terror comes in many forms. Today Zima came over for her walk so
we headed into the hills. At one point I tripped over a root and
fell flat on my face scraping myself. I was terrified it would take
weeks to heel the wounds. Zima came over and comforted me and I felt
better. Later, Zima encountered a rattlesnake - although never having been
bitten, instinct told her to take a path a long ways around this beast, she
wasn't terrified, but was extremely cautious. The only thing that terrifies
Zima is a patch of cacti. She encountered one of these today in the woods. She
was trying to get to some water in a rock and the cacti were in the way.
A valiant leap got her over the cacti, but after she had satisfied
her thirst, she had to get back. She stopped and looked at those
cacti and was frozen and squealing in place until I rooted out a path for
her with a stick. May all things that terrify us be as easy to deal
with.
