I find it interesting....since I was bringing up what's left of the Farallon Plate earlier, that today we have two quakes off the coast of Central America and so far one off of Vancouver. Is there a relationship between the movement on the Cocos Plate and the Juan de Fuca? On 2/28/01 just minutes prior to the Nisqually quake, there was a quake just off the coast of El Salvador. Perhaps it's a stretch, or perhaps Lowell would know if this would fit in with the far field triggering, etc.
