Re: West Hollywood and vicinity earthquakes |
Hi Lowell and Don, I've got two ear tones without a match. One around a 5.0 and another much larger. The 5.0 I don't think could be associated with the LA area, but the larger sound surely could be. If anything is going to happen it will most likely occur in the next ten days as it seems about 15 days is average for the larger events in the southern area's. That loud tone I heard was on Saturday 9/8 in the afternoon, so we are looking at up to and around 9/23-9/24. So if that's the case, then we should also keep an eye open for any intense geomagnetic storms, changes in oil fields, water wells, strange occurrences of sea animals coming on shore and any far field triggering from earthquakes that will cause a shawdowing in that area. Remember before Northridge occurred in the hills above the LA basin oil was oozing out of the soil. Canie, if you're reading, you might keep a watch down you way for unusual stories that might relate to the above. The more hands at the wheel, the better. My two cents....Petra Follow Ups: ● Re: West Hollywood and vicinity earthquakes - Canie 08:26:18 - 9/13/2001 (9436) (1) ● Re: West Hollywood and vicinity earthquakes - Todd 18:15:37 - 9/13/2001 (9442) (0) |
