Lowell-

Thanks for your insights. All along they have been very interesting and educational.

When the 4.2 first hit, there wasn't much of an aftershock sequence, that had me concerned but since there has been quite a respectable number of 2 and 1 pointers. I have now heard that it has been confirmed that there has never been a quake of this size in recorded history in this spot. That could be worrysome. However, on the bright side there have been several 4s in on the Newport-Inglewood system that have been migrating north. There was Torrance, Inglewood, Baldwin Hills (maybe the same as Inglewood?) and now this. Those in the past as we know never resulted in anything. Hopefully this 4.2 is connected to all those and now just further north and at the end of its line.

While I would never hope for a big quake in CA, I always feel that in my daily mode I am in a cope mode should one hit and would be ready to deal. But after what has happened in NY and all this talk of going to war, I don't think anyone could handle a major quake in LA anytime soon. It would be impossible to deal with.

Lets hope this is it for this swarm.
