Earthquakes in Colorado

Well, we didn't have to wait long to see if the earthquake swarm in southeast Colorado
was over - another two this morning. There is something strange about these
earthquake, though. All have occurred in pairs between the local hours of
3:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. MDT. The last three pairs have been separated by
one day each (today's were Ml 3.5 and 3.6).
This is a pattern that almost suggests some intelligence behind these earthquakes -
injection mining comes to mind. The time early in the morning leaves out blasting
which is usually done in the afternoon. There is a lot of oil and gas extraction in
that region, so induced seismicity is a definite possibility.
One other odd thing about this sequence. On 17 August a fireball was observed
across the entire southwest region of the U.S. It was thought to have crashed
in an area slightly northwest of these earthquakes which began 11 days later
on August 28. Because meteoritic material is quiet expensive, there has been
a massive hunt for the crater and remains, but no one has found any debris.
The meteor was thought to have been several tons upon landing based on the
size of the fireball. So, this is a second mystery associated with this area
in the last month. Any connection? I doubt it, but

ROGER ... maybe that is why the "men in black" are not pursuing Don and his
earthquake predictions, they are too busy tracking down the cause of these
earthquakes.

For all you UFO nuts out there this area has also been linked to a number of
sightings over the years - most think it is related to military bases in the area,
and one group claims it is the location of an extra-dimensional gateway. So,
let's get weird and talk about this.
