I live in Old Town Orange,CA. A number of years ago the Santa Ana Zoo accidentally left their avairy open and released quite a few tropical birds, parrots Macaws, Cockatoos and the like. For whatever reason the parrots thrived in the area and they live in all our trees. You can set your watch by them. Every evening, just before sunset, you hear them coming home to go to sleep. For the first time, I can remember, they didn't come home this evening. Combined with the unusually hot, muggy weather and the absolute stillness, my dogs absolutely underfoot, I sense something is up. Anybody notice anything unusual especially in Orange County?
