I'm not in orange County (today at least) but some interesting OC News was out this morning about a 'new' fault discovered by UCI - The San Joaquin Hills Fault running from Costa mesa ? (that may be wrong) to Dana Point...

I still think its the extension of the fault I call the los alamitos-compton thrust fault... running from baldwin hills down to Dana point... What's in a name ??
