Santa Susanna Fault - Update |
Hi All! A few days ago I had posted about the San Fernando Valley and that the Santa Susanna Fault was not to be reckoned with. However...after reading posts on this board and on Jim Berkland's board, I felt compelled to bring this tid-bit of knowledge forth that fits this scenario even more. Sean from Northridge posted on Jim's Phenomena site that he was making a concerted effort to put Los Angeles on High Alert. In his message he states that he noticed the Creeks that run across the Santa Susanna Fault are Bone Dry!! He said its his job to check on that area, etc. and the last time was on 9/20/99. He also said that even in the hottest months in the Valley, those creeks do not Dry up!! So...this brings forth not only my picture of that area down there, but Sean's & Canie's as well. Dennis...you're right, Too Quiet!! The past 2 nights outside looking at that "Big" Full Moon, dead silence!! No crickets or other things that go bump in the night!! I now have other critters though that think my back yard is their sanctuary, and my dogs are not happy about that and want to go out and clear their turf! My husband said, if there is a stray animal around, it will seek you out and come to live!! Thats always been true with me all my life, animals that either have homes or are strays come to my front door!! Even my neighbors cat thinks this is her home and will sit outside the window and meow to come in, Dogs and all! She has "No Fear"! Ear Tones last night, left ear about 8:30 pm. My dogs are so clingy, they have to be every where I am, I almost fall over them when I turn around! I have even had bouts of sadness the last few days. And to add to that, after seeing the story on the Golfer-Stewart, we had a San Jose Police Helicopter go down and killed the SJPD pilot and the Maintenance Mechanic! Now, I ask you, what is going on in the air that causes a Lear Jet to loose compression and go off in another direction, and a Police Helicopter to go down in the same day? Is it the electron particles in the air or what? Anayway, you guys take care of yourselves and stay alert and safe. This feeling of a tragedy is overwhelming me today, and I wish I could say the when & where, but I unfortunately have not learned how to do that. Maybe its better I don't. But I have been waking straight up out of a deep sleep between 2:30 and 3:15 in the morning for the past 3 days and can't go back to sleep. When I wake up I am in a state of Panic and like a "What was that!" and "What just happened".. I'm just posting all this just in case something does take place in the world, I'll know what it all meant. Bye for now :-) Dyan in Garlic Country Follow Ups: ● Re: Not good - Diane 17:36:59 - 10/26/1999 (900753) (0) ● Re: Santa Susanna Fault - Update - beth in Santa Clarita 15:44:11 - 10/26/1999 (900748) (0) ● Re: Santa Susanna Fault - Update - Canie 14:17:49 - 10/26/1999 (900746) (0) ● Re: Santa Susanna Fault - Update - Char 14:06:38 - 10/26/1999 (900745) (0) ● Re: Santa Susanna Fault - Update - Lucinda 13:10:53 - 10/26/1999 (900744) (2) ● Re: My husband saw the helicopter crash - Paula 12:52:15 - 10/27/1999 (900765) (0) ● Re: Santa Susanna Fault - Update - Dyan 15:31:17 - 10/26/1999 (900747) (1) ● Re: Santa Susanna Fault - Update - Lucinda 16:20:05 - 10/26/1999 (900749) (0) |
