Well, I'm not at all surprised about a creek bed being dried up in october here in Southern Cal - We had about half our normal rainfall last year and none since ??? I can't remember when we last had any rain... Its been extremely hot for a couple of weeks now as well - if there's no water in the creek bed, then the level of the groundwater has just gotten lower (which is to be expected). That's not the fault I'd be worried about. Buy HEY! Who knows what might happen.

I also tend to doubt any relationship between a Lear jet in Florida and a helicopter in San Jose - It is truly unfortunate about Payne Stewart - We lost a good man when his plane lost cabin pressure over Florida.

And I'm sorry to hear that Lucinda knew the pilot that died yesterday in San Jose - My regards and best wishes to Lucinda, her family and the pilot and mechanics families.
