I can't imagine why this would have anything to do with a web site the originates in
Colorado, but I did hear something about a big train wreck in a Baltimore tunnel that severed major fiber optic cables, disrupting a lot of internet traffic. The NEIS site doesn't go through a router in DC or anything does it? Maybe this is only affecting people to the east.
