My theory on S.CAL

This is just purley speculative and just my scientific theory on what is going on in So Cal so I figured, what the hell, I'll post it here.

It is my opinion that So Cal is entering a phase of increased seismic activity. If you look at the previous 50 years before 1985 you'll notice a few big quakes here and there but nothing consistent. Then boom, in the late 80s we get Palm Springs, Whittier into the 90s this continues w/ Pasadena, Landers, Big Bear and Hector Mine.

IMO I think Landers pushed things along for Northridge. I believe that in the forseeable future, LA will see another 6+ quake that could have been linked to Hector Mine. Likewise, after this quake, we will see some more high magnitude LA activity, probably in the Inland Empire somewhere, another 6+ in the desert, and then BOOM, the big one on the San Andreas between the Salton Sea and the Cajon Pass. After this, there may be another 6-7 in Ventura or LA county and then another 100-200 years of peace. Kinda similar to what happened to San Francisco leading up to the 06 quake.

This is just my opinion based on observation and my own studies of the area. But I thought I'd mention to all of you.
