Yes, I've seen others link the Landers-Northridge events - and now that Hector has occurred there's the possibility that it added stress too - 2 areas of concern for that would be more towards the Barstow/Ridgecrest/Coso area and the San Gabriel Valley - along the base of the mountains there.

As to the San Andreas 'locked' portion between the Salton Sea and Cajon - I'm fervently hoping its making itself a new path east of its current location and away from the population. (Not my idea but I buy into it)

And speaking of predictions for Southern Cal there have been some 'sensitives' getting their symptoms for the area - anything from a 2 to a 5 or so. I read those elsewhere this morning.
