Might I burden you with one more question? Were these tables indicative of world-wide events or only events that took place in the path of totality/annularity? (Which is what I'm trying to determine.)

By their numbers, I would assume these statistics would indicate earthquakes world-wide. Do you have at your fingertips data for +7 EQs within the swath of the eclipse so that we can see if they are more or less frequent within days of the eclipse than chance? Or does this data get skewed by eclipse paths that don't transect major faults?

Has anyone done calculations on the paths of total or annular eclipses that ONLY transverse major faults?

Also, could someone please answer these two remaining questions?

What bearing does the wider swath of an annular eclipse have upon possible eclipse-triggered EQs (if they exist)?

Is every point in the annular swath equally vulnerable (provided the swath passes over strained fault zones), or is there more of a danger in the median of the swath?

Also, what are those ovals within the annular paths on the maps?

Still might have to move, or at least move the town of Dodge. If I owned a Dodge, I'd leave it right where it was.
