Re: TEC prediction failure

Hi Roger,

Did someone make a prediction?

I can recall someone contacting me on November 6, 2012 and asking me if I might be expecting any seismic activity around 24 N and 93 E. That information is on one of my Web sites. Is that what you are talking about?

If you look at the NASA and Australia government TEC maps referenced on that Web page they are pretty vague.

The person who sent me the original information sort of implied that he or she or they got their TEC information from those maps. But I am not certain of that and don’t pressure people with whom I correspond to get additional information. So, the data might have actually come from some other source.

The person or persons I corresponded with does or do have a formal connection with the government of the country in which he or she or they live. So, there might have been some additional government TEC resources available.

If that TEC forecast information was in fact based on those NASA and Australia government maps then the person of people who sent me the data must have a fairly good way of processing the maps so that a location as specific as 24 N and 93 E could be obtained.

These are personal opinions.
