If you re-read her original post announcing the changes, Canie states that, "He's got the board running on his own host now."

How else can I possibly do that unless I have the files (including the archives)? Sure, it's not said directly, but it can be reasonably inferred.

Look up 'exculpatory clause.'

It means the board owner cannot be held responsible for anything the forum members say in their posts, that the responsibility for what is said lies solely with the person who posted it.

(I am familiar with this because for several years my job was as a responsible signatory on legal contracts, which included such clauses. I also had to be familiar with the laws governing those contracts.)

EQF, I am making an honest effort to, as you put it, to have "this matter get settled in a harmonious manner." How are you helping to meet that goal?

I am doing so by setting aside my preconceptions of you and attempting to educate you to the _facts_ of how things have worked _before_ I was even on this forum, how they have not changed while I was here, and how I intend to keep things just the way they are for the benefit of everyone, including yourself.
