Brian, thanks (much): I'm not used to using that page: I just looked at the Lat-Longs of the 5.3, 4.9, and 5.5 and they seemed to be in a NW-SE line if I did not get dyslexic. But, you are correct that the overall zone of NE-SW. But consider that a NE-SW fault may have been activated with small quakes, but that some are on NW-SE faults. Lucy's article said locations are not precise, so that means that what I thought I saw may not be correct. I'll look again. Don't forget 1987 Elmore Ranch M6.2 left lateral quake on NE-SW fault was followed 1/2 day later by M6.6 or so Superstition Hills quake, right-lateral on NW-SE fault.
