Again, no pattern.

I have a list of mag 6+ quakes. I eliminate any that are within 10 days and 1000km of another quake.

For each remaining quake I compute the time to the nearest syzygy. This goes into an array, from zero to 32 days wide. I tried various intervals from an hour to a day wide. A 6 hour interval works best and looks like this;

The tops are very jagged of course but no peaks at day 8 or 24
