foreshocks, not aftershocks |
I posted the 6.2 as an aftershock of the 6.9. It was a foreshock (it came before). And the 6.2 had its own foreshock. Would not be a bad idea to study these closely, to compare to the southern Californa 1987 M6.2 (?) Ellmore Ranch left-lateral triggering about 1/2 day later the M6.6(?) Superstition Hills. Canie, I remember you posting a few times before that quakes in Gulf of California are followed by quakes in southern California. I just don't recall that this actually happened in the last decade. May be a task for Roger.
