1. Complaining about the lack of attention giving to Shan's method. Anyone expressing hope that tracking the path of a shadow on the wall can yield earthquake predictions is out where the buses don't run. 2. Complaining that predictions without locations are undervalued is ridiculous. Predictions without location are just predictions for the entire world, and can be easily evaluated as such. There is no difficulty, the problem is that the methods "without locations" have not been proven to have useful power.
