Earthquake Warning – September 6, 2011 |
Earthquake Warning – Posted by EQF on September 6, 2011 Especially strong EM Signals were detected at the following times: 2011/09/06 12:00:00 UTC Those signals were fairly unusual because their line peak shapes shown in the chart below are quite similar. And the signals were detected 7 days apart. My data indicate to me that multiples of 7 days between signals and other signals, between signals and earthquakes, and between earthquakes and their aftershocks can be significant. The line peak groups appear to be pointing to the 65 W to 78 W longitude area. And it is recommended that earthquake forecasters should be watching for strong seismic activity in fault zones within that longitude area. However, it happens quite often that the expected earthquake will occur at some other location. That could be because the probability equations in my location determination computer programs are not yet sophisticated enough. Or it could be because the EM Signals are actually being generated in the area pointed to by the line peaks. But, that is because strain associated with the approaching earthquake is being transferred to that area. The fact that two signals were detected like that, 7 days apart, probably indicates that the expected seismic activity is not too distant in time. Additional data analyses will be done.
