Aack, I just realized that the Atlantic ocean is over 1 m wider from sea floor spreading than when I was born. Also, the relative sea level is 15 cm (6 inches) higher in R.I. than I was a kid.

A couple of weeks ago HD and I were looking at a website or set of comments about getting to work using geologic processes, and how long it would take.
