Re: YEAR CHART DATA - May 7, 2011 |
With some humor intended I have to propose that you must have a guilty conscience. You were not one of the people who posted a response to my original note. And so I wasn’t pointing at you, only the people who posted those notes including Roger who has actually been quite helpful over the years in spite of his skepticism regarding the science of earthquake forecasting. The reasonably good background in physics is needed to understand how the gravity pulls of the sun and moon can combine to produce the Tide Generating Force etc. that my forecasting programs rely on. Regarding EM Signals, if I knew more about their nature I would certainly tell people that and publish some papers about them. My detection method is somewhat unusual and doesn’t say too much about the nature of the signals. Also, I believe that I am working with a variety of signal frequencies to complicate things even more. That new forecasting group that people posting notes here are talking about, QuakeCasts, might be working with some of the same global type signals that I myself am. And I sent them a note recommending that we have a discussion about that. However, they look like they are a commercial forecasting group. And once money gets into the picture people generally stop talking. All of my own forecast data and computer programs are free for people to use. They should just acknowledge me as being the program creator etc. if they use my technology to publish a paper. The QuakeFinder group appears to me to be working only with EM Signals that can be detected in the general vicinity of the earthquake fault zone. So I am guessing that major earthquakes that occur out in the ocean such as that recent one in the Japan area might be more difficult for them to spot. There is an independent group in the People’s Republic of China using what are called MDCB earthquake forecasting instruments that were originally developed for identifying underground oil and mineral deposits from what I understand. And their detectors appear to be working with EM Signals that have an intermediate range, perhaps 1000 kilometers or something like that. But they can do triangulation work with their systems. And that can provide them with invaluable location data. Finally, please use EQF for my User Name in this bulletin board. That can help with keeping heated discussions from migrating from this bulletin boards to other parts of the Internet and around the world.
