Not the case (plus) a new Strong EM Signal

Chris,

As I suggested to Roger with humor intended in an earlier note, some of you folks posting notes here are living in a alternate reality fantasy world of your own creation. You often don’t know what you are talking about, in this case regarding what is taking place in China. I probably have better personal forecasting contacts in that country than almost anyone outside the country on the planet. My own forecasting work was discussed extensively at a disaster mitigation conference in Beijing years ago. More about all of this later if time becomes available.

A very strong EM Signal was detected at:

2011/03/31 12:34:00 UTC

And, I need to finish processing that information and other EM Signal information I have collected lately, and then determine if an earthquake advisory needs to be circulated.

If you go back to the post listed below you will see one of my other recent advisories. I have my forecasting computer program running now. And it is indicating that at least one of the important EM Signals I discussed in that advisory and in advisory updates was pointing to the approach of the March 24, Myanmar earthquake that reportedly claimed more than 100 lives.

2011/03/24 13:55:12 20.70N 99.94E 10 6.8 Myanmar
NEIS Data

My advisories are circulated in part to let other earthquake researchers around the world know when they need to take a careful look at their data to determine if a significant earthquake might be about to occur near them. Unfortunately, there are probably no people in Myanmar who have the instrumentation needed to do that. And I am guessing that none of the forecasters outside that country spotted anything pointing to Myanmar.

I wonder if Shan circulated a warning for one in that area. I don’t check his Web site on a regular basis myself.
