Roger,

You need to remember that children and other highly impressionable people are reading these public bulletin board notes. And although it is important to provide vital research data to people with these types of public warnings, it is also important to try to avoid saying anything that could get those children overly upset etc. People need to be diplomatic regarding what they say in public.

When I say that I am expecting a “significant” earthquake it usually means that it could be one that will cause damage and produce injuries and fatalities regardless of its magnitude. And that is just what happened in Haiti on January 12, 2010, the day after I posted a warning note to this board. And it has now happened again on March 11, 2011, two days after I posted a warning note to this board. Do a count for yourself. I don’t post that many earthquake warnings these days. I have greatly refined my selection process during the past few years.

I believe that you have had some children in your family background. So you should be aware of those types of things. How can you keep posting such foolish sounding notes to this board? You should know better in my opinion.
