Ekstrom says M9.1 from the global CMT, I'd guess that is the best number. Energy need not equate to moment - there is different weighting of the motion with frequency. Moment, which determines magnitude, is measured as long period as possible, while energy is most effected by motions near the corner frequency, here maybe 100s or 0.01Hz, or even shorter period.
