Just had a thunderstorm pass over with quite a lot of lightning. Was out under a canopy on the back porch watching when a bolt hit a tree just 600 feet away.

Even though I have good UPS protection for my computers I had turned everything off. Good thing too, since the power was affected several times.

Doesn't look like it's over for the evening either. Some more stuff still brewing on the radar headed my way, but it may weaken by the time it gets here.
