Question for Amit

Amit, in your theory you talk about the influence of the planets on the Earth as a triggering mechanism for earthquakes. This influence is gravitational I presume, correct? If so, do you refer to the absolute gravitational pull of the planet upon the Earth, or its tidal influence?
