"Earthquake Energy Increasing"

I found the article linked to below at Syzygy/Job - where it seems to have met with minimal skepticism. This despite the fact that the author, apparently an Australian geophysicist, claims that since 1973 annual global seismic energy release has increased by a factor of five!

I think that it speaks volumes about the mindset at that forum that such a highly unlikely claim is accepted so easily - or at least not met with a great deal of questioning. Apparently the claimed bona fides of the author and the admittedly professional writing style in the short document are sufficient. Here's the kicker - the author claims that the reason for the increased earthquake energy is that the Earth's interior is heating up due to receiving more energy from the sun than it is able to radiate into space. He concludes,

"Planetary interior overheating is the most
serious consequence of so-called “global
warming” and constitutes the main danger for
humanity on Earth today."

There is no explanation of why this dramatic increase has taken place so suddenly within the last 34 years.

The discerning reader will also find the short list of "References" to be of interest, too.
