But, it looks like you have to buy this article, so never mind. You can kind of get a feel of the debate by looking at the letters in the link to the post above (which is free). I probably cut the article out when I received the print version...then I recycle the magazine/Journal.

It looks like the importance of solar variability to climate is controversail/open to legitimate debate. But, for me, even if sun variability had a large effect, that does not mean that man (CO2) does not also have a big effect, and at the rate CO2 is being released, CO2 would be the bigger effect. Just my opinion.

For whatever it is worth, the sun has been more active...Kp 7 magnetic storm yesterday on earth, and looks like a sun spot.
