Chris, thanks for posting this. I was hoping for
a public discussion on the issue of Sun-Earth Climate
effects by the science community. As the author points
out, there is something we don't understand about the
Suns affect on the Earths Climate.

Yep, it looks like Suncycle 24 is finally getting started
.....four sunspots in a little over 3 weeks. I think that
disturbance in the Kp was cause by a coronal hole because
these new sunspots are still weak.

I still think Suncycle 24 is going to be wimpy. Most suncycles
overlap a little. This time the end of cycle 23 and the
begining of cycle 24 did not. Here is link that shows the
sun-earth action for the last 3 months.
