Shakeout: water and fire

There were a couple of presentation on the Shakeout exercise to be held in Southern California Nov. 12-16, with I think million(?) of participants.
There are also some posters up with the information below so might be in the abstract volume linked above.

First presentation on this was by Lucy Jones, USGS

Even without a Santa Ana wind, the earthquake scenario they are working with predicts some unpleasant surprises:
10,000 to 100,000 rockfalls and landslides
300,000 damaged buildings of which 45,000 will be complete losses.
1600 fire ignitions of which 1200 will require more than one engine.
112 billion damage to buildings and contents, of which fire is a large part

112 billion economic disruption: of which lack of water is a big part: pipes will break.
