arctic sea ice animation, Palin

In response to an email from my older sister saying that Sarah Palin (McCain VP choice) was opposed to listing polar bears as "threatened", and doubting climate change research (or something), I finally remembered to check the current status of Artic Sea Ice. In addition to:

The link takes you to an animation of sea ice for this spring and summer. The link above says that at this point (late August) it is the 2nd least on record for the date. Don't forget that the least sea ice last year was in mid September.

I'll have to check more directly what Palin's beliefs on science and climate change are. Penny: curious what you were arguing about with your Republican friends. Want to link to any non-biased sites on Palin's views on science, and specifically climate change?
