If you go to the following Web page you can find a zip file that contains my original core source code. It has been there for years. The program that I have running now has the same core source code with additional code for more data processing and display routines. I added the graphics capabilities during the past year and just recently got them running the way I wanted.

The new source code will be released as soon as I have had a chance to get it organized. That will probably be step 2. Step 1 is getting the present program set in a form where it can be circulated.

The first copy was sent to a research colleague within the last hour to see if it would run on his computer.

Before the program is circulated I need to install a "help" file that explains how to use all of the different data processing and graphics display options.

I am not trying to argue with you about programming philosophies. The primary goal here has been to get something running as fast as possible. And whatever worked, I went with it.

I was not even planning on trying to circulate the program. But on August 2, 2008 I finally managed to figure out how to generate .exe programs. And since then I have been busy trying to get the program organized for circulation.

Most of the people who will be using the program will not work with source code and a compiler. They just want a program they can click and run. So that is what I generated. If I could have gotten them to get the Perl compiler running on their computers it would have made life much easier.

Oh well. It doesn't matter any more as the .exe programs are now running.

Full speed ahead.
