| M7.8 China |
There was a M7.8 thrust earthquake in China. I'm at Lamont-Doherty in New York this morning and the seismographs, presumably attached to a seismometer here, of course recorded it. The location looks to be near the limit between highlands and lowlands so could be a mountainfrom thrust. Otherwise, have not checked the news on this...don't know how populated. Quakes this size in China elsewhere have been catastrophes.
