A repeat of Owens Valley (lone Pine) mighjt not be too catastrophic...last time I drove through there was a long time ago...20 years, but was pretty sparse. Something like a quarter of the population of one of those towns was killed in 1874(?), but the population was around 100 and the buildings Adobe. You might have less, not more, fatalities today for a repeat of that one. Repeats of the others would be Ugly.
