Dec 2012 is the End of the Mayan Calender and according to them the end of the world as we presently know it. Planet X is susposed to be a rouge planet or drawf star that is susposed to come thru the solar system every 24000 years and screw things up and it is due in 2012 as well according to some of the nutcases out there.
