Well....

Hello,

Nobody really knows. Tail is "wagging" the dog. First of all, after all this volumous internet drivel I have subjected myself to, I have a clue that few of these people can even visualize what an earthquake actually IS. You have to get below the ground temblor to even understand it. The whole concept of "hang wall, foot wall" comes from hard rock mining. And hard rock mining is on the surface, so to speak. That's where I began my understanding of geology.

In my mind, any clues to an impending earthquake come from depth, based on scientific observation. I like the idea of AE - ULF for precursory data. But there is still one huge hang-up. How do we discern between normal stress patterns and REAL precursory activity? Take a look at Anza. If the micros start running deeper, it will raise my brow. But I don't KNOW if that really means anything.

Glen
