Heartland daughter called because she felt it in Santa Cruz. Said it rattled things but did not knock things off shelf. Focal mechanism is strike-slip.
Not much to say about this from me, except there has not been much posting on this page and now we have something new to talk about.
Have to finish SCEC proposal by tomorrow...due Nov 2, but I will be travelling from Nov 1. I have written a whole paragraph but they are only 5 pages including figures. Looked at a new data set and it showed Santa Monica fault on several seismic reflection profiles between Pt. Dume and Santa Monica area, and also showed the Palos Verdes fault offshore north of the Peninsula.
