Hello Mike,

You are looking at Frank Condons site, it would seem. He is looking at AE and MT
(magneto telluric) data and trying to figure out if there are any precursory conditions which signify greater seismicity in southern California. This branch of seismic research is still highly questionable, and has not been fully proven, in a scientific manner. Frank Condon has made it very clear that his effort is research, and still in a formation process. Another person who has looked at this line of thinking is Jack Dea, a physicist for the US Navy. It's not new.

I look at Franks' graphs often, and through years of questions, I came to the conclusion that his electronic knowledge of the sensors and the portrayal of data is very good. More importantaly, he keeps meticulous records of the AE and MT emmissions and tries to relate that data with the well recorded seismic events. Although the theory is simply that, theory, I feel that the keeping of accurate records of these events separates Frank from other posters who attempt EQ prediction. We have a lot of people on the various forums trying to chase a "fart through a bail of nails". Frank is not one of them. I support his work.

Glen
