What likely happened then is that when the reset occurred, we had already passed message 65,000. Therefore the counter went backwards.

Better find the cause of the reset to zero, or re-write the code to determine the highest message number and start after that.

Something else, I was looking at the message numbers of the currently listed messages and although it seems sequential, it doesn't seem to increment by one. I see a lot of skipped message numbers.

For example:

65000 - DOES NOT EXIST
65001 - DOES NOT EXIST
65002 - DOES NOT EXIST
65003 - DOES NOT EXIST
65004 - DOES NOT EXIST
65005 - DOES NOT EXIST
65006 - DOES NOT EXIST
65007 - DOES NOT EXIST
65008 - DOES NOT EXIST
